During a service recently at a local church I was in the Spirit worshipping the Lord and He began to speak to me about the Shire of Boonah in South East Queensland. The word was clear and decisive and it laid out a clear cut choice that had to be made by the residents of the Shire of Boonah. Also I had immediate confirmation from 2 other prophetic people whom I respect who individually had been told during the service that I had received a word for an area from the Lord. This leaves me with little doubt that the Lord is now speaking this word to the people of Boonah and that He requires a significant response from them that will ultimately affect their destiny both as a shire and individually as residents.

Prophetic Word:

The Shire of Boonah has been through some tough times recently, involving crops and livestock, water rationing and disease, rising prices of fuel and herbicides etc., this has seen the net worth of the shire plunging rather than rising and the pressures have been felt in many households.

The Shire as a whole has looked to technology and science to lead the way to improve life and bring propsperity and have merely given the Lord, the creator of heaven and earth a tip occasionally on sunday mornings. Yet the Lord says" I am the core of all prosperity, I am the centre of all creation and blessing, but you have not turned to Me. Out of My heart flow blessings and healings and opportunities to prosper. My words are life and healing to all who will come to Me. I have waited and waited but you have not come and so the blessing that I had prepared for My children has not been released to them. But now My heart yearns for My sons and daughters to return to Me and to come back into the house of the Lord with joy and singing.

For if you will return to Me with all your heart then My heart will indeed open to you again and I will indeed release the prosperity and blessing and healing that I have prepared for you. Now is your time to hear and obey the word of the Lord. Therefore circumcise your hearts afresh and let the foreign idols among you be put away, and turn your heart toward your brother and be kind and generous to each other, put away your grasping for profit and stop seeking advantage over your neighbour, but care for each other and help each other as I have given you command.

A new commandment I give unto you" That you should love one another as I have loved you"

Then your light shall break forth as the dawning of the new day and peace and prosperity shall fill your hearts and your houses. The wealth of the nation shall begin to flow into you and their will be a time of great rejoicing in your midst for I will set Boonah Shire high in the nation and many will hear of your blessing and come to find out why. And it shall be said that " Boonah walks with the Lord"

But if you will not hear the word of the Lord and continue to harden your heart and stiffen your neck against the promptings of My Spirit then My heart shall grieve for you as Jesus cried over Jerusalem saying " If only you had known that this was your time, but now your house is left a desolation" {Luke 19 v 41-44}

End of prophetic word

As one whom the Lord has called to reveal His Word to His children, I would advise the following: Read the Book of Jonah and see what a determined change of heart across a city can achieve. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord daily and worship Him alone, give thanks to Him and allow your hearts to love the Lord in a fresh and beautiful way and He will return unto you and arise in your midst with healing and prosperity and favour. Make peace with your neighbour and forgive past transgressions even as the Lord has promised to forgive you of your transgressions. Reach out a hand of help to those in need, for the Lord sees all and repays all who are merciful with mercy upon their own lives. Open His word, the bible and ask Him to speak to your heart, cry out mightily to the Lord in prayer and you will see the miracles and signs that He does in every generation to reveal His mercy to His children.
