"To Know Him"

Undoubtedly one of the greatest mysteries we as mankind face upon this earth is the relentless search to know God our creator. In our modern society many have given up this pursuit and become 'atheists' denying that there even is a God, often because they were unable to find any evidence to prove His existence to themselves. To an atheist God can not be known because He doesn't exist.

Others have gone down the track as 'agnostics' saying that if there is a God then He is far away and not interested in the lives of men. To an 'agnostic' God doesn't care enough about men to reveal Himself and therefore He can not be known personally.

There are also billions of people within the world who are progressing down the path of 'religious observance' seeking to know God, often because they have felt or sensed something that encouraged a belief that there is a God somewhere.

'Religious' people are often very sincere and zealous in their belief and pursuit of knowing God through rites and rituals and lifestyles conducive to these beliefs. To a religious person God may eventually be known if you follow certain man made rules and rites and rituals and strive with all your might toward that goal.

God however is not found through mere religious observance or impressed by man made efforts to know Him, because He has already revealed Himself to all men upon the earth. He has walked upon this world that He made with men, and lived a perfect life as a man to become the door we have all been searching for. Jesus Christ did not merely come to show us the way to God, He came to be the way to God.

'Biblical Christianity' is more than going to church or saying prayers, it is a personal relationship with God Himself. It is finding the intimacy of God's Holy Spirit and cherishing it deeply within your own life. It is daily stopping to seek His wisdom in the scriptures of the bible and listening for His promptings and guidance for our lives.

'Biblical Christianity' is a life of being 'His' totally, of walking with Him and loving Him with all your being, and enjoying the 'heavenly life' that is available to and meant for all mankind. Knowing God begins with stepping through the door He has provided for all men, stepping into a personal relationship with Him and allowing Him to be the ruler of our lives.

Can God be known?
Is He really there?
Does He care enough about man to reveal Himself to us?

The answer to these questions is Yes!

God loves you and sent His Son Jesus Christ to die for your sins, so that you could become a child of God.

Believe that Jesus Christ payed the price for your sins by dying on the cross
Believe that He rose again from the dead victorious over death
Asking His forgiveness for your sins and failures
Yield your life to His rule

By doing these simple steps honestly from your heart you will begin the lifelong adventure of 'knowing Him'.
